Electroacupuncture

Electroacupuncture is a modern form of acupuncture that combines traditional needle placement with gentle electrical stimulation. It provides more consistent, sustained activation of specific points, making it especially useful for pain, nerve conditions, and chronic tension.

During treatment, fine needles are inserted as usual, then connected to a device that delivers mild, rhythmic pulses. The sensation is typically described as a gentle tapping or vibration, not painful. This continuous stimulation enhances the effects of acupuncture by providing steady input to the nervous and muscular systems.

Electroacupuncture is commonly used for chronic pain, muscle tightness, nerve issues, and injury recovery. It may help reduce pain, improve circulation, and support muscle relaxation and function. It also plays a role in calming overactive pain pathways and improving communication between nerves and tissues.

Treatments are individualized, with settings adjusted for comfort and effectiveness. Despite the added technology, sessions are often deeply relaxing. Used alone or alongside traditional acupuncture, electroacupuncture offers a targeted, effective approach to pain relief and recovery while maintaining a holistic focus.
